To Our Green Leaf Valuable Customers, Beloved Friends, and Faithful Supporters,
*With a deep mindful breath, gratification, appreciation, and sadness, we would like to inform everyone that Green Leaf Restaurant will close its business after dinner on Sunday, November 16, 2014.

For the last year and a half, there has been great pride and joy in serving and meeting each one of you. New friendships have been formed through good conversations, laughs, and, of course, great foods. Surely, it has been a special journey for all of us! With the support and love received from you, we have been able to reach our passion in serving delicious healthy vegetarian meals. In showing our gratitude and returning your support, we have been giving back to the community through financial and food donations to various local and international good causes. On behalf of the charitable organizations/functions, homeless people, and the Food Not Bomb organization, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to practice compassion and loving-kindness. May this merit radiate to all sentient beings. We will continue our commitment to practice compassion through charitable functions and offer vegetarian/vegan food in other settings. We encourage everyone to continue to practice mindfulness eating for “Healthy Body-Healthy Mind” and have compassion for all lives as a way to keep our passion going.

*So, what will we do after this? Spend more time with the family AND “sleep in”, Of Course….!!!
-Let’s see: Grandpa- stays home and plays FreeCell until his heart contents:)) and most likely he will continue his volunteer work. Grandma- exercises and feeds the chickens (no worries, we don’t eat them). Hostess Sister L-we’ll see… Our oldest son Skinny K-The Joy of Teenager Years…snoozes through the weekends, trying to skip chores, and practices his guitar (p.s- hasn’t gotten 1 star rating yet). Our little “well-rounded” J- What else? Eat, Eat, and Eat! In case you did not recognize him at the restaurant. He was the one in the buffet line so many times :{ }. And our Star Chef D-sips tea, reads newspapers, cleans his yards, and cooks for his family? Well, maybe not, the chef deserves a good break as he has worked very hard to serve everyone. For me…where should I begin with such a long list? For sure, I will look forward spending more time with my family since our children are still young, and we do not want to miss out their growing up years.

*Once again, we would like to thank each one of you. Words are not enough to express our gratitude for your presence and support. It is heartbroken that GL is closing but we are looking forward to create another chapter in our family with the success we have accomplished. New beginnings cannot occur without an ending to something else. There is no greater joy for us than to have your presence and support all these times. It has enriched our lives and confirmed that it was worth opening our business to serve you. Collectively, we have done something memorable together. From our family to yours, we wish you the very best and much happiness with a mindfulness lifestyle during the holidays. May we all have inner peace at all times. Keep smiling!!! And remember, “The opposite of success is doing nothing, not failure” (Ted Show).

With gratitude,
Green Leaf Family
